Local police encourage residents to have their say before 30 June

Victoria Police is inviting Mornington Peninsula residents to participate in its 2025 Annual Community Sentiment Survey, with local officers urging the community to help shape future policing priorities.

Acting Senior Sergeant James Keegan, Senior Sergeant Iles, and Rosebud Police sergeants have taken to social media to encourage locals to take part before the survey closes at the end of June.

“We’re asking all community members to share their thoughts—what concerns you, what you value, and what you’d like to see from your local police,” the Eyewatch Mornington Peninsula Police Service post reads.

The annual survey helps Victoria Police understand local attitudes toward safety, crime, and policing services. Responses are anonymous and directly inform the development of police strategies at both a local and state-wide level.
