Two Hastings men will appear before Frankston Magistrates’ Court next month, charged over a series of alleged break-ins across Seaford and Crib Point.

The pair, both aged 39, were arrested after detectives from the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston Crime Investigation Units executed search warrants in the Hastings area following a string of alleged burglaries.

Police allege the men used a vehicle to ram their way into a Seaford supermarket and pharmacy during the early hours of Sunday 5 May. While they reportedly left the supermarket empty-handed, investigators say they fled the pharmacy with stolen perfume.

The following day, on Monday 6 May, the duo allegedly attempted to break into a Crib Point liquor store before successfully targeting a nearby service station, where items were reportedly stolen.

Both men have been charged with burglary and theft and were granted bail. They are due to face court on Monday 10 June.
